Tell me about YogaFest 2020 …

YogaFest 2020 was a free festival which streamed online from Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26, feauturing over 50 hours of programming across two channels. Typically hundreds of souls gather at Song of the Morning for this sacred communion, and this community stepped up out of a spirit of loving generosity to supply dozens of home-recorded videos including yoga classes, meditations, spiritual ceremonies, sacred chanting, sound healing, esoteric workshops, devotional practices, kids programming, and more. Though the magic of being together in person was sorely missed, it was still a magical experience which offered everyone who participated - at least judging from the influx of enthusiastic feedback - with a deeply nourishing dive into spiritual Truth. How do I watch the videos?

We are making the majority of YogaFest 2020 videos available to watch by uploading them to YouTube over the late summer and autumn months (approximately a few videos each week). Videos are being collected in the most easy to access format here, as well as on this page that includes program descriptions. Lastly, you can find the videos on the Song of the Morning YouTube channel, where we also post unique content from Song of the Morning Ranch, including onsite meditations, hatha yoga classes, spiritual inspiration from Paramahansa Yogananda, footage of the beautiful Song of the Morning grounds, and a livestream broadcast of our weekly Sunday Service! Subscribe to our YouTube channel and you will get a notification whenever a new video is available to watch.

The festival was free?

Yes! We welcomed - and continue to welcome! - donations during this time of financial hardship when Song of the Morning’s retreat doors are closed and income grinds to a halt, but we also recognize that we are all in this together; that we are not the only ones facing financial hardship. It is in this spirit of service, compassion, and communion - the spirit of Yoga - that we provided the festival link freely so that anyone who wishes may join any - or every! - program without needing to enter any payment or personal information whatsoever. And we are so grateful that you all rewarded us with your generous support by donating over $11,000 to our YogaFest fundraising drive! The donation campaign is still open and all proceeds help our year-round non-profit spiritual center operate as a haven of spiritual sanctuary for all truth thirsty souls.

What is YogaFest at Song of the Morning like when there isn’t a global pandemic?

Glad you asked, because it’s pretty great. You can read all about it here.

I have another question …

Great! Please use the form at the right and someone from the YogaFest team - either Brian Clark or Monika Ford - will get back to you in a reasonable period of time. Thank you for your trust, patience, love, and support. Heartfelt well-wishings of peace to you all.
